Clear and Present Danger

I’m not quite sure if the title of the movie is correct.

The movie that I’m referring to was the one starred by Harrison Ford where he played a Secret Service agent in charge of securing the safety of a high political figure.
I remember a particular scene in the movie where the Secret Service convoy was forced to take a detour after an orchestrated rerouting of traffic that leads the entire convoy to an entrapment. Harrison Ford by his experience in the Service recognized the imminent danger lurking ahead while the entire convoy is taking the detour. All the probable manifestations of an assault were present. Long and narrow road, enclosed with abandoned buildings on both sides that make a perfect set up for a high noon assault. Whilst still hoping that his instinct is wrong, he braced himself for the unexpected and soon after the smoke was cleared, most of his men are dead in what seems to be a clear but a treacherous danger.

Professing your faith and religious belief in the land where no religion other than Islam is allowed is like getting a hitch hike with Harrison Ford’s convoy in that movie.
A country where even the possession of bibles, rosaries and crucifixes is forbidden; is a simile of the abandoned buildings, long and narrow road with the assault team waiting to unleash their fury upon those who doesn’t have the same religious ideology like their belief. But unlike Harrison Ford, I’m not that bold and daring to expose myself in danger especially in a territory that is unfamiliar and unclear.

Perhaps I just have my own and unique way of serving the Lord without getting extra bolder as Harrison Ford did in the movie. And if your are asking what is my way of serving the Lord? You are already reading it.
